Disability Support Worker
Lifestyle Options
We are looking for casual support workers to join our Lifestyle Options team
Provide 1:1 support to people who live independently with a primary focus on people assuming as much control in their life as possible, support people in a wide range of activities both in the home and community.
We are looking for individuals who:
- Have a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of people living with disabilities
- Have excellent communication skills and an ability to build strong relationships
- Have a previous experience in Disability Support work - advantageous but not essential we will provide training for the right candidate
- Understand that each person has a unique journey and requires a unique approach
- Are available to work flexible hours including mornings, weekends and sleepover shifts.
Skills and Experience
The successful applicant must have or be willing to obtain:
- A Valid Victorian Drivers License
- NDIS clearance and Worker Orientation completion certificate
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Cert IV in Disability or relevant industry experience (not essential but favorable)
